Be encouraged ladies, It’s All On! Why?  Christ strengthens us. We can do all things because of the strength given us by Christ.  We can and will go through whatever fiery trials come to prove our faith. We will be victorious in whatever life circumstances have been placed in our path. Sickness, unemployment, separation, persecution, abuse, abandonment, infidelity, poverty, foreclosure, frustration, devastation or any such trial will not defeat us. You, we are more than worriors, more than conquerors, more than  champions, we are the daughter of the King of Kings, your daddy is the Creator of all created things. You can, and we will believe ‘all things’ are possible unto us through Christ who continues to strengthen us.

We desire to be the woman who when people see our good works in the midst of the most obscure and adverse circumstances …they will give praise to God for such a walk only possible through God. They will know that only by the power of God we are able to stand and remain light in such darkness! Whether that darkness be a marriage of adversity, a singleness of impossibility, a job of frustration, or whatever dark circumstances we may find be our journey. We will bring light to the darkness and disperse it in our presence. You are the daughter of the King of Kings, you have come to disperse the darkness.  The darkness, trial has not come for you, you have come to bring it to Light! Go through daughter of the most high you are more than a conqueror, you are a Woman of Victorious Valor! You are the Light of the World.

“…for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. 12I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13For I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength. 14 Philippians 4:12-14

35Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36(As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”^o) 37No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:35-37

Total Surrender

What will separate us from the love Christ has for us? Can trouble, distress, persecution, hunger, nakedness, danger, or violent death separate us from his love?
36As Scripture says: “We are being killed all day long because of you. We are thought of as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties. 38I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Jesus our Lord shows us. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces 39or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation.”
Romans 8:35

God will never stop loving us, but when the test comes, and it surely will in some form or fashion, will we stop loving God? Yield ladies, surrender all to God.  When we can’t see his plan, and we don’t understand, TRUST the heart of God!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Your circumstances are dark, dreary, you have prayed, fasted, proclaimed, begged, pleaded, bargained, cried, swore, cussed and anything else you could think of…The circumstances, your husband, child, circumstances still remain the same.  Pastor, sister preacher, Apostle, Teacher, Evangelist, sister/friend, you have almost lost hope, or worse yet you have used some scripture to justify your failure, but deep inside you know you have failed and are still failing.  He hasn’t stopped drinking, cheating, the lies remain, the pornography, money spending, hasn’t stop. The child is still promiscuous, cheating, rebelling.  The darkness has remained… Where is God? Where is your power?  Where is your miracle?

I was told of a true story of a couple married some 30 years and one day the husband came home and said he was moving out. To make matters worse, he moved in with an employee on the same job where they, he and the wife work.  That was not the shocking thing, what was mine boggling was  this same wife would see this new found couple everyday, and she was cordial to both the abandoned husband and his new girlfriend.  I was told she didn’t have any bitterness and in fact was one of the sweetest persons you would ever know!  I didn’t believe this until I saw and met her for myself…

I am retelling this story

Because at the time I said “I am not such a woman.” Now as I look back over my life I realize I still would not be that woman, but I am all that I have allowed God to transform me into. Having been married some 19 + years, divorced and remarried,  I see the transformation in myself, only possible by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.  I remember the day I actually became aware of betrayal and how it felt.  It was a message left on the separate phone of our home, one I vary rarely answered . This particular day for some reason I answered it..”I enjoyed our hugging and kissing the other day, I hope we can do it again.” That was the message on the phone.  I felt violated, betrayed, and any other negative emotion you can think of…

I remember when

We decided to lose weight together and one day while walking the track early one morning, he simply walked in front of me and began to walk with another young lady, never regaining his walk with me…The various  incidents I am recalling here have occurred over my lifetime of 58 years, I have remarried and am sharing some of these to help you on your journey to our Heavenly Father.  I remember one day receiving a phone call and the voice on the other end of the phone said, “Would you please tell your husband when he comes to this area to stop coming by my house.” Needless to say the voice was that of a woman.  My husband had just returned home from a business trip, and of course when questioned he denied it…

I remember

Logging onto his computer one day and seeing emails quite explicit scheduling a meeting with another young lady. I went on line to pay our cellphone bill and saw the phone log of how often he called a particlar number, and in fact, many times when he was out of town, after talking to me he would call this number.  I looked up the number and called it, and it was the voice of a woman that we both knew…

Things appeared to cool off, and then one day I notice a bill from an online dating service, after further investigation I see where he had logged onto that service just the day before…

And so here I stand.

Some may say I am a fool, some may counsel walk out, hit him, hate him, be bitter, make him pay.  When these things occurred in my youth I probably would have done all of the above; God has now become first in my life. First over hate, bitterness or even my self, God has and is becoming first.  I have, and continue to learn, that if I give myself over to hate or bitterness I lock myself down right along with him.  The bible says

“16Come and listen, all you who fear God;let me tell you what he has done for me.17I cried out to him with my mouth;his praise was on my tongue.18If I had cherished sin in my heart,the Lord would not have listened;19but God has surely listenedand heard my voice in prayer.20Praise be to God,who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!” Psalms 66:16-20

When I lock him into a cell of emotional hate and bitterness I have to be locked down with him because I hold the keys.

Did I feel pain

Even now in remembering it, is the pain still present? Quite yes, feelings of violation, betrayal, and all try to repossess my heart, but I refuse to allow them to take root.  Can I do this myself, absolutely not! But after being a Christian some 51 years I am learning the miraculous empowerment of the Holy Spirit. When I am weak…then I am strong. Strong not of my self, but my strength comes from above.

“ Therefore, I accept weakness, mistreatment, hardship, persecution, and difficulties suffered for Christ. It’s clear that when I’m weak, I’m strong.”2 Cor. 12:10

Shall I love only when things are right…

Anyone can love when things are going right, but the true test is to love despite what the other person does…Am I condoning his behavior? Absolutely not, but God said, Vengeance is mine says the lord…whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap.  Often we see this scripture in the context of destroying our enemies, but I choose to see it in the context, that as I sow seeds of love, unconditional love …I will continue to reap a harvest of God’s love and provision.  Whatsoever a woman sows that shall she also reap! My father after having been married some 50+ years was asked did he really believe his wife loved him, his answer was, “What does it matter, I loved her and that is all that counts…”

My dearest sister, friend, daughter whoever you may be that is reading or listening to this, I never fully understood the scripture that said ‘Love covers a multitude of sins.” 8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. “ I Peter 4:8… but now after some 58 years I do. The love of God shed abroad in our hearts will cover the bitterness, anger, hate and the need for revenge in our hearts. It will purge us from within in, saturating us with healing salve, the Balm of Gilead and enabling us to walk this world as a Woman of Valor, a Light of the world, in a world full of bitter, angry and hurt women.  It will enable you to shed God’s love toward your enemy, those who misuse you, violate you…even if that someone is your husband.  With God all things are possible. God can turn midnight into day, can you trust God to empower you to love and not hate, and so I ask you Hate or a four letter word…love.

“1Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. 2As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. 3” I Peter 4:1-3

I find it quite interesting how women will measure the worth of a man by the size of his appendages.  Oh we all may be familiar with the old comparison big feet big _____.  We determine his worth by this criteria.  Oh there are more, i.e. the car, job, place of dwelling that he has.  For now however I want to deal with this one, his appendage or tool. I was asked the other day ‘Does size matter?”  I hesitated to answer the question, for I wanted to take time to contemplate on the true question.

We as women ask for things, and wonder why when we get them, they don’t satisfy.  Does size matter? Has performance set the standard for a great relationship?  Shall we grade our relationship on a scale of 1 to 10? What happens if you have a 3 has he failed?  Shall we dispense of the person as we do a useless piece of paper or soiled rag?

Then…

There are those who boast of a perfomance on the scale of 10. They tell of the wonderful escapades of passion, desire and the like…is this what we want? I wonder what such a man with such talents want himself?  Should we also be graded on our appearance and performance ability. What body part would be fair for him to judge us on? Should he throw us away like a useless or soiled  piece of paper if we don’t measure up…

Many a women have found themselves empty after a passionate night of expenditure.  A performance to be well remembered and that is exactly what it is a rememberance.  Where is he now, at home with his wife, career has him totally occupied, or perhaps his children has all of the rest of his time? After you have rested from such passion, why are you now finding yourself  longing for more, more, and yes even lonely.

Then the other…

Then there is the other woman who states she doesn’t need a man to satisfy her. She can work and make her own money, take herself out, and if necessary buy a tool to satisfy her body. We even have the religious who say all they need is their god. She boasts of her completeness and self sufficiency. Yet when one looks closer in her eyes, there appears a deep longing, a longing for more…perhaps she too is lonely;even with her god?

And what of this…

I saw an interview of a couple very obviously enjoying each other,  they sat closely together, she looked into his eyes with joy, and he into hers with passion and pride.  I wondered what was the secret of their success. Was he a passionate and proficient lover, was she a great cook? What was the secret potion to this obviously happy couple?  I then looked closer, she wasn’t a size 10 or a figure eight. He didn’t have ‘big feet’ you sisters know what that entails…in fact he was a quadriplegic (he was parallelized from his neck down).  The obvious answer was that he couldn’t be a great performer in the bedroom, he was parallelized. What was it, it had to be deeper than anything we could see, no appendage, size shape or fashion. No performance would set the standard for this couple: Sex or a four letter word.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

Loss is Gain. The stripping away, the abandonment, loss of job forced retirement, loss of a friend, husband, wife or child. Foreclosures, shall the list continue…Loss of ones health, vitality and youth. Suddenly you wake up one day, to find you are no longer young, you are fat, skinny, the hair is gray, the children have lives of their own…you no longer have to get up for work…where has it all gone…

Loss is hard, whether voluntary stripping, release or a ripping tearing away, loss is hard: Hard on the emotions, hard spiritually even for the spiritually strong, simply hard.  Child fighting with spouse, who will win, which one will you choose over?  Leave or stay, spouse doesn’t treat you with care anymore, leave or stay.  He is kind to you, provides, but doesn’t want to marry you…leave or stay.  You have been faithful in giving your offerings, and a good steward in all God has given you, and now your house is in foreclosure…leave or stay? Trying to be a good steward of the body God has given you, trapped by genetic predispositions of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart trouble, obesity, live or die, leave or stay…Wake up one morning finding the house feeling empty, spouse there but not there, leave or stay…

Life has brought its Jordon: the separating river is here. You must make a decision, you are no longer able to just be, it is time, time to choose.  Some you were not even given time to choose, it was ripped away…Emergency room moment, foreclosure paper on the door, pink slip on the job, empty spouse closet…Yet it is time to still choose. You may be in the midst of your River Jordon, or your very next step is that River of Jordon that separation point.  You have procrastinated long enough, now it is time.  Time to make a decision in your heart of hearts, that will cause your entire life to change. It is a destiny moment, a moment of Divine call…whom or what will you serve:The Created thing or the Creator?  Basket Ball, Ministry, Fun and Frolic, A House, Children, Money, A Spouse, A Relationship, A Job, A Dream, who or what will you serve?  Who or what is calling you? Loss when a releasing to God occurs will yield a glory promotion that you could never imagine. Who will you answer to?

The things that bother you speak to you: These things  have voice, they have strength. Strength to make you weak, drain you, debilitate you.  The house says, “Get another job, sacrifice everything you have to, your rest, your life, just keep me, don’t let me go, don’t let me go into foreclosure, please no!” Your vision, career, hobby or dreams speaks too, it says, ” Please you know when you continue with me, you will be famous, the best ever, you will have proved you are not a failure, sacrifice family, rest, anything to pursue me, but don’t let me down, please make me the priority of your life, this is your time!” Then there are the children that you feel responsible to for the rest of your life…they speak, “Mom, Dad you know how hard you had it, don’t make me have to go through that too cause you won’t continue to help me, I didn’t ask to come into this world, make me first in your life, forsake everything else, you, rest, Dad, Mom, but put me first, don’t forsake me!”

There is a point to all this. You have come to the river for such a time as this. Will you answer to these created things or will you answer to the Creator? Who or what will you serve? It is time for your promotion. It is time to experience the glorification of releasing everything to God! All creation is waiting; the heavenly angels are sitting poised to see your choice.  As for me and the body of my house; For God I will live and for God I will die.

Prophetic Proclamation:

A releasing is taking place in the spirit. A change is forming. Things will be ripped away, a searing in the spirit, others we will release freely, but a change is taking place.  May God our Creator find us faithful, and heaven focused.  This world and all the things created will pass, but only what we do for Christ will last. You choose, ask God for help, he sees your heart, and ask the Holy Spirit for strength and empowerment, such strength is needed for such a transition…Welcome to the River of Jordon…the time of separation call! (For those who do not know or believe in the need for the Holy Spirit, you will find you are powerless without it) Will power is not enough, as you have already found I am sure. It is time for your promotion! It is time for your glorious gain!

5Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8

18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.” Romans 8:18-21

Isaiah 40:28-31

Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [There is] no searching of his understanding.

He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

When Hebrew turns “lights” on in passages like Isaiah 40:31: “they that wait

Transliteration from the Hebrew ;  means ‘to twist, or to bind, as a rope.’

This verse pictures a intertwining of one’s life with the life of God. Picture your Life as a weaver’s thread weaved and intertwined with that of  God’s. When intertwining is being done one can only be made strong. He who “waits” (twists his life with God’s)

”…they that wait upon the LORD” is made strong.

Gal. 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Hab 2:3 “For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Hold on my sister; hold on, God will comfort you. God will give you strength.  God will make your strength perfect in your weakness.  Learn to wait, learn to intertwine yourself in God as a weaver’s thread.  He will carry you; He will be your strength. Wait on the Lord…
